Officials of the Censor Board have cleared Lingusamy's 'Vettai', which is gearing up for a Pongal release, with a clean U certificate. A few changes were suggested by the authorities that were agreed by those behind the film.
"Members of the Censor committee enjoyed the film and said it is a gripping movie which is entertaining and filled with fun. They all liked the comedy, action and other scenes," says the spokesperson of 'Vettai'.
Produced by Tirupathi Brothers in association with UTV Motion Pictures, 'Vettai' will hit the screens worldwide on January 14. Touted to be an action packed family entertainer, the story is primarily about two brothers (Madhavan and Arya).
While Madhavan has played a police officer, Arya has played a carefree youth. Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul are their love interests respectively. Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja and songs are already topping the charts.
