Jiiva, the star of one of the biggest blockbusters of 2011, ‘Ko’, celebrates his birthday today (January 4). Jiiva celebrates his birthday on the sets of his forthcoming magnum opus ‘Mugamoodi’, that’s touted to be Tamil cinema’s first ever superhero flick.

The star has three super big releases in 2012 and that definitely makes his birthday this year more special than ever. He currently has ‘Nanban’, the remake of Bollywood blockbuster ‘3 Idiots’, with Ilayathalapathy Vijay, Srikanth and Ileana on board. This Pongal release is one of the biggest projects of 2012 what with the banner and star value.

Right after this, Jiiva will be back with a breezy romantic entertainer, ‘Neethanae En Ponvasantham’ that stars Samantha opposite him and is a trilingual directed by Gautham Menon. Jiiva plays the lead in the Tamil version.

Post this, for a summer release will be his ‘Mugamoodi’, a biggie that showcases him as a superhero, with Narein as the baddie and Pooja Hegde as a TV news reporter and his lady love.

Jiiva also has a multi-starrer featuring him and close pal Jayam Ravi under SP Jananathan’s direction, and a film with Ahmed of ‘Vaamanan’ fame.

It may be mentioned Jiiva even turned an entrepreneur this year by opening a chaat eatery in the city along with a friend.

The goings great for Jiiva! IndiaGlitz wishes him a very happy and a successful birthday… You can post your wishes in here as well.
