Always known for voicing for the cause of Tamil, Tamilians and Tamil Nadu but roping in actresses from other States in his films, Thangar Bachan is at it again. The director has approached Karthika, the 'Ko' girl, for his forthcoming project.

But the young actress, who is currently playing the female lead in Bharathiraja's magnum opus 'Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum', has put the offer on hold, considering that it has got many similarities with her role in the Iyakkumar Imayam's film.

Confirming that she has approached by Thangar, Karthika says, "But it is too early to talk about the project. I am yet to take a decision on it." Remember Karthika reportedly denied a handful of offers in the last one year, as they had resemblance to the one she did in 'Ko'.

"I want to try my hands at different roles. I am currently doing Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum in Tamil and Dammu with NTR Junior in Telugu. Both the films have offered me meaty roles and the characters are totally different from each other," she says.
