Lara Dutta, whose baby is due next month (January), had a grand baby shower ceremony that was laced with style and glamour. The 'Godh Bharai' function which was held yesterday (12 Dec 2011), was organized by the former Miss Universe's sister Cheryl.

Very happy over the ceremony’s success, the B-town actress tweeted “Had the best baby shower!So much love and lots of blessings! Thank u all as well for all your wishes'.” Lara also posted a pic of her with hubby Mahesh Bhupathi.

Only select people were said to be invited for Lara’s baby shower; and among which was sports diva Sania Mirza. Interestingly, the ceremony turned out to be a modern affair, where the would-be-parents as well as the guests were dressed in urban attires. Momma Lara was wearing a pink short dress and high-heeled sandals…

But we feel – isn’t this a time for Lara to be extra careful, instead she is wearing such a footwear??? And also we feel she should have worn something flowing gown and should done away with such a tight outfit….

She was spotted in similar way recently at Chivas Studio for an event.
