Vishal may be one of the most sought-after guys in Tamil, but he is unsatisfied that no Telugu director has ever approached him with a script despite the fact that he hails from Andhra Pradesh.

"I would like to do a film in Telugu. However, no director has narrated a story to me. Though my mother tongue is Telugu, no one has evinced interest in doing a straight Telugu film with me. I am puzzled," Vishal was quoted as saying.

Vishal is a well-recognized well in this part of the region though. Vaadu-Veedu, where he played a squint-eyed man, won him critical acclaim.

His recently released Tamil film, Vede, directed by Prabhu Deva (and a remake of Gopi Chand’s Shouryam), is said to be not doing too well at the BO.
