Bala is all set to shoot for his upcoming project, which has now been titled ‘Eriyum Thanal.’ As earlier reported, Bala has picked Atharva for the protagonist’s role. Bala who is known to revamp the look and attitude of heroes in his films also gives them a new lease of life ahead in the industry. With Atharva being the chosen one to play the lead character, expectations on this young talent are mounting.

Bala who usually pens his own scripts has been inspired to make this film based on a Malayalam novel. The story, according to reports, is based on a family and the turmoil they undergo due to a freaked out son amongst them. Atharva will play the vexed son.

This would also be the first time that Bala is spinning a story around a family. The national award winning director is at the moment busy with the pre-production works concerned with this film, the shooting for which is touted to begin during December. There are also reports doing rounds that the director is on the look out for characters who would get to play Atharvaa’s parents in the film.

Yet another first in this film would be the teaming of Bala with GV Prakash, the latter who would be setting the tunes for ‘Eriyum Thanal.’ The director is also believed to have revealed that he is planning to wrap this project within six months.
