Madhavan is spending quality time with his family members, especially son Vedanth, courtesy an injury on the sets of 'Vettai' recently. As a blessing in disguise, the hurt on his knee has given a reason to his son to cheer about, for the young boy is spending more time with his father.
"I was working with Raju Sundaram for a dance sequence when my knee gave away for some reason. I am on bed rest for five days," elaborates the 'Alaipayudhey' hero, before adding with a smile: "My son wants me to dance more so that he could play with me."
In 'Vettai', Madhavan is working with Lingusamy, his 'Run' director, for the second time. "I thoroughly enjoyed shooting for Vettai for Lingusamy is known for his warmth and dedication. Arya is great company, So was the co-operation from others, including Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul."
Madhavan is playing a police officer in the film, and Arya his younger brother. Plans are on to release 'Vettai' by the end of this year and an audio launch is expected at the earliest. The film is produced by Lingusamy's Tirupathi Brothers in association with UTV Motion Pictures.
