After much talks and news about the film, the makers of 'Joker' have finalized the release date of the 3D fantasy adventure.

According to our reports from UTV Motion Pictures, 'Joker' will hit the screens on 30 August, 2012. Directed by Shirish Kunder, the madcap comedy features Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead along with Shreyas Talpade, Minissha Lamba, Vindu Dara Singh and others. Of late Chitrangda Singh has been brought on board for an item number in the movie.

'Joker' promises an out-of-this-world experience. Quite literally so! Want to know what's the movie's story? Here it goes.... Akshay Kumar returns to his hometown, a place that's so remote and crazy that it's not even on the map. And then what follows puts this forgotten little town not just on the country's map, but makes it the focus of the entire globe! Aliens! Is the town really the site of an alien invasion? Will Akshay manage to change the game - just like the joker does in a pack of cards? For that we have to wait for the movie to release....
