Unbelievable but true. Within weeks of hitting the floors, director Prem Nizar has completed the shooting of 'Ishtam', a film starring Vimal and Nisha Agarwal in the lead roles. "The talkie portions are over and only two songs are left to be shot," he says.

A remake of Telugu hit 'Yemaindhi Eevela', 'Ishtam' marks the makeover of Vimal, who hitherto played a rural youngster, in movies like 'Pasanga', 'Kalavani' and 'Eththan'. He is playing a modern, city-based man in this feel good entertainer.

And the leading lady is Nisha Agarwal, the younger sister of Kajal Agarwal. She is repeating the role she played in the Telugu original. "We are planning to shoot both the songs in Switzerland. The dubbing work is also going on," says Nizar, giving further updates on the project.

The movie has music by Thaman. "Vimal and Nisha have given their best, while Anup of Chikku Bukku fame and Mumbai-based model Parvathi are also there in Ishtam playing crucial roles. It will be a film for youngsters," concludes the director.
