'Vedi' passed with a U/A certificate

Vishal's forthcoming 'Vedi' has been passed by the censor board with a U/A certificate. This action-packed entertainer is directed by Prabhu Deva and has Vishal sharing screen space with Sameera Reddy. It's due to the dosage of power-packed action sequences the film has bagged a U/A certificate and is a clean family entertainer.


The film has been inspired by Telugu super hit 'Souryam' and has music by Vijay Antony, whereas Prabhu Deva's dear friend, music composer Devi Sri Prasad has shaken his legs for a peppy number.

'Vedi' is marketed by Sun Pictures, and considering the film has now been censored, the marketing works on the film will kick-start rigorously on television channels and other media houses from today by Sun Pictures, as per reliable trade sources.

'Vedi' will hit the screens on September 29.
