She looks like a baby when she smiles and is just out of her teens. But she entered Tamil film industry with a bang when she starred opposite Dhanush in 'Maapillai.' Hansika has been having a good run at the Tamil film industry since then. The audience love to see her one screen wanting more of her.

The actress was recently in Madurai along with the 'Velayudham' team for the audio launch of the film along with hero Vijay and director Raja. 'Velayudham' will hit theatres soon though a tentative date for the release of the film has not yet been fixed.

Hansika who is shooting opposite Udhay for 'Oru Kal Oru Kannadi' directed by Rajesh recently took a break from her busy schedule to appear for her bachelors degree exams. Now, post taking her exams the actress back to face the camera. Hansika has a handful of projects in Telugu too.

Hansika's career is going great in the South and the Sindhi lass is absolutely level headed about her filmy approach. Hansika has no qualms about appearing in multi-heroine projects and does not consider any one as her competitor. She has also reportedly revealed that henceforth she will dub in her own voice for the films that she will appear in.
