It was rumoured that Karthika Nair who made her debut through 'Ko', opposite Jiiva under KV Anand's direction, will play the female lead in the Hindi version as well. It was also said that, Karthika's mother, yesteryear heartthrob Radha, approached Akshay Kumar to consider Karthika for the Hindi version and he also reportedly gave his nod for this.

However, when a media house contacted her for her response to this, she rubbished all this talk as mere rumours. She also added that she already came across these reports but she is yet to choose a project for her foray into Bollywood.

The actress has already worked in three south Indian film industries, in big banners, and is yet to sign on the dotted lines for any other Tamil project for she is choosy and wants to retain the success that she saw through 'Ko', in her second film as well.
