After playing a character with divine antecedents in his previous outing Khaleja, superstar Mahesh Babu is doing a high character yet again in his up-and-coming Dookudu. In the film being directed by Sreenu Vaitla, Mahesh's eyes are always set on making a mark through whatever he does. He doesn't believe in ending up as an anonymous person.

Mahesh's character has been sketched keeping in mind his grand image. The characterization goes something like this: Mahesh thinks that anything that we do today should make an impression for more than a generation's time.

Of course, it doesn't mean that Dookudu is a serious drama. With Vaitla wielding the megaphone, you can be assured that it is going to have a mix of everything in good doses - be it action, comedy or a theme.
