Be it music or films, they seem to come searching for her. She is touted to be the new face of present Indian youngsters. Sruthi Haasan, despite her high-profile background, seems to be grounded. She has her priorities right and a smart head on her elegant shoulders.

Shruthi will be making her debut as a heroine in Tamil with A.R. Murugadoss's '7Am Arivu'. She has shared screen space with Suriya in this sci-fi thriller, and her role in the film is that of a scientist, reveal sources. Shuthi, on '7 Am Arivu', is reported to have revealed that it was quite a learning experience working this in project and has a high regard for her co-star in the film, Suriya.

Unruffled by rumours that have been doing the rounds about her involvement with actor Siddharth, Sruthi feels that one's private life is one's own business. The actress, who has not been able to sing much due to the different places her acting profession is taking her, loves to try singing in different languages.

Shruthi also does not like her acting to be fenced under any particular geographical boundaries. The actress accepts roles from any languages, the only criteria being that she needs scope for performance, and she loves to travel wherever her job takes her, and as of now it seems to be smitten by the beauty of Hyderabad!
