'Veppam' is an upcoming action thriller with a lot of other emotions like romance and anger interwoven beautifully into the script. Directed by Anjana Ali Khan the film sees Nani from Telugu, Karthik Kumar, Nithya Menen and Bindhu Madhavi portraying important roles in the film. The film’s script is touted to be the first hero with very challenging roles for the entire cast.

The story is about three youngsters Nani, Karthick and Nithya who are brought up in a slum and the events surrounding their lives. Bindhu Madhavi has portrayed the daring role of a prostitute. The film is co-produced by Gautham Menon's Photon Kathas and RS Infotainment. Music by Joshua Sridhar is an important feature; he sure seems to be a composer to be watched out for in future.

The film which has been produced with the budget of US$ 550,000 is believed to have got much more the money than that was invested even before the release of the film. The rights of 'Veppam' in Tamil Nadu are reported to have been sold for US$600,000. This is exclusive of the television rights as well as international screening rights considering which the money amounts to around $200,000.

Even before release the demand seems to be growing for 'Veppam' and those who are looking forward to 'a film with a difference' can sure watch out for 'Veppam'...
