Fans of "thala" are waiting eagerly for the release of their idol's 50th film, 'Mankatha.' While many close to this film have revealed that 'Mankatha' will hit theatres in August, come what might. 'Mankatha' is being sold in the neighboring states of Tamil Nadu for a good price. There are talks that Gemini Films Circuit will be taking 'Mankatha' under it wing for the film’s release in Tamil Nadu.

Though there are no confirmed reports on this, there is a strong buzz in some section of the film circles that Gemini Film Circuit might bag the offer.

Either one of these companies bagging 'Mankatha' is definitely a good sign because it is a signal that the film is gearing for release as planned. Some sources close to the 'Mankatha' team have also revealed that the final print of the film is getting ready. With all work going on at a good pace we can definitely hope 'Mankatha' will occupy theatres sometime in August.

'Mankatha' sees Ajith Kumar helming the film with Arjun playing his rival. Trisha has been paired opposite Ajith. The film has a strong supporting cast in Lakshmi Rai, Vaibhav, Premji Amaran, and Anjali.
