Today Suriya Sivakumar celebrates his birthday. He is one of those very few actors in Kollywood who combine well 'mass' and 'class' elements. And he will be celebrating it in style, with colleagues and with his family members.

Only on Friday his forthcoming film 'Maatraan' hit the floors in Chennai. And his other venture, the A R Murugadoss-directed '7am Arivu', is gearing up for a release and is expected to see light of the day by the end of August.

This year there is one more addition to Suriya’s family, as his younger brother Karthi Sivakumar tied the knot with Ranjini earlier this month. "Karthi and Ranjini are back from their honeymoon trip to greet Suriya," say sources.

And finally, the 'birthday boy' says, "I am having some plans for the year ahead. Before next birthday, I would do something big and would start working for it today. Otherwise, it is yet another day for me."
