We all know about Kajal Agarwal's entry in B'town, with the Hindi remake of Suriya-starrer, 'Singam'. The remake bears the title 'Singham' and she will be seen opposite Ajay Devghn. Although this entry itself is at quite an early stage of her career, in a recent talk with IG, she reveals she was offered many roles even before. When the makers approached her for 'Singham' and since she had already seen the Tamil version and knew that the lead lady had an important part to play in the film, Kajal felt that this Ajay Devgn starrer would be just the right launch-pad for her in Bollywood.
"For the last four years, I have been doing 4 - 5 films at an average every year. I am literally on sets or on locations for 365 days a year and frankly, due to this there was no time for me at all to think much about anything else. This is the reason why I felt no rush when it came to Hindi films," says Kajal.
So was she offered roles in Hindi cinema even before 'Singham'?
"Well yes, I did get a lot of Hindi offers even earlier but then I never started strategizing that I should do a Hindi movie and it's time for one. Of course when I heard 'Singham' and that too with Ajay Devghn and Rohit Shetty, I knew that I had to be on," smiles Kajal.
We sincerely hope the magic of 'Singam' repeats in Hindi through 'Singham', and the actress finds her launch pad a perfect one...
