'Angadi Theru' girl Anjali pins all hopes on two of her forthcoming films, 'Thambi Vettothi Sundaram' and 'Karungaali', which are set to hit the screens very soon. "Both movies have me in performance-oriented roles," she says.

"I play a Kanyakumari girl in 'Thambi Vettothi Sundaram', which has Karan in the lead role. I learned the dialect of the region in a short span of time and everyone was appreciative about it," she says.

On 'Karungaali', she says, "The film comes with a strong social message, which is must for today's youngsters. At the same time, it would have ingredients that would convince one commercially. Director Kalanjiam has given his best."

While 'Thambi Vettothi Sundaram' is inspired by a real life incidents that took place in Kanyakumari district few decades ago, 'Karungaali', we learn, is about the sexual problems educated young married couples face and how this can eventually lead to divorce.
