'I am very lucky to get a role that will help me to prove my acting proves. I consider this, jut like an acting workshop' says Piya Bajpai who is debuting into Mollywood with the new movie 'Masters'. Piya will be appearing as a village girl in this movie, much different from his modern, bubbly roles that she had been till recently. The actress who had turned a hot favourite with in a short time with movies like 'Goa' and 'Ko', has earlier debuted with the Priyadharshan movie 'Poi Solla Porem'. And incidentally it was Priyadharshan who rightly guided the actress to take up the Malayalam project with the advice that 'there will not better place you need to go to learn realistic acting.
Piya is infact, thrilled to be a part of the movie which will have Tamil director Sasikumar and Malayalam super star Prithviraj in the lead. While Prithvi will be in the role of an young IPS officer named Sreerama krishnan, Sasikumar will appear as a journalist named Milin Poly. 'Masters' directed by Johny Antony will get to sets by the next month in and around Kottayam.
