Rohit Shetty's next movie 'Singham' produced by Reliance Pictures is based on the Maharastra-Goa backdrop. The movie also has as many as 15 Marathi actors as Rohit wanted the characters to look very authentic and exactly their part.

With so many actors on the sets, a lot of bonding was bound to happen. It so happened that in the last week of shoot, everyone on the sets was craving Marathi delicacies due to the entire atmosphere created on the set during the shoot.

News is that actors Suchitra Bhandekar and Jayant Sawalkar obliged everyone on the sets and got specially made Puranpoli for the entire cast and crew. The whole unit was excited as Puranpoli is one of the most savored Maharastrian delicacies! This soon turned into a Puranpoli party of sorts with everyone right from the actors to the spot boys were enjoying this tasty feast!

Looks like the 'Singham' crew got a chance to experience and capture the true Marathi culture thanks to the authenticity of the locations, actors and food! ‘Singham’ is slated for a 22nd July release.
