A leading channel in the UK ran a documentary about the mass killings of Tamils in Sri Lanka. The documentary highlighted how people were killed just because they were Tamilians. A discussion was organized in an Indian channel as an outcome of this documentary.

Popular names in the Tamil film industry like director Seeman, who heads the Naam Thamizhar group, director Manivannan, Prof. Dheeran, all spoke regarding the gruesome killings of innocent people. The killings, a thorough racist act, have been brought down heavily by many leaders as well as film stars previously too.

The speakers during the debate also spoke about how a certain section of people were tortured and killed. They also expressed that this documentary gives an idea on the massacre killings of the innocent in Sri Lanka. They also opined that the documentary serves as a proof for people to question Rajapakshe and the Government.
