Every happening from a Kamal set, is nothing less than news. And his ‘Viswaroopam’ is only more expected than ever, as the actor, apart from playing protagonist dons the director’s role as well for this film. The movie will be shot continuously and the shooting scheduled abroad will be wrapped up in 75 days, say reliable sources from the unit.

The movie was initially rumoured to be an Indian version of ‘Hannibal,’ that is to say, a movie on cannibalism. However, the unit has rubbished it all and it is now clear that it will be on the lines of international blockbuster series, ‘Mission Impossible.’ Kamal plays the lead, a spy who is accused of stealing the nation’s secret.

Now the Kollywood grapevine is abuzz that, Isha Sharvani, a Bollywood actress who has done films like ‘Kisna’ and ‘Luck By Chance’ is appearing along Kamal in ‘Viswaroopam.’ Remember her “I can’t dance…” and number with Hrithik Roshan in the Hide & Seek advertisement?

Meanwhile, we had earlier reported Sonakshi Sinha citing date issues and the team approaching Vidya Balan who refused, again citing time crunch. But there has been no official announcement on Sonakshi not being a part of ‘Viswaroopam.’

Meaning, although it is confirmed that this kathak dancer who is popular for her moves is making an appearance in ‘Viswaroopam,’ we can’t be sure if she is playing Kamal’s lady love (replacing Sonakshi) or a pivotal role.

This project has foreign technicians working on every minute detail of the film. What more can one ask for from a thriller?
