The nation’s most loved sport – cricket has always been a lucky charm for the ‘Housefull’ franchise and so producer Sajid Nadiadwala has decided to release the sequel to the comic caper ‘Housefull 2’ right after the Indian Premier League-2012.

As per box office reports one of the biggest hits of the year 2010 Eros International and Sajid Nadiadwala's ‘Housefull’ that opened to packed houses is back bigger better than ever with a sequel that promises to have you laughing off your seats. The film scheduled to release on the first Friday after the IPL finals next year has had a long standing equation with sports specifically cricket. Keeping to the tradition the team and cast of ‘Housefull 2’ is working on a tight schedule to make sure the film releases on the scheduled date.

Says a source, “Housefull was associated with the ICC World Twenty20 so also were Nadiadwala’s previous films like Mujhse Shaadi Karoge and Heyy Babyy – Keeping to tradition this time around NGE’s Housefull 2 had its teaser promo out during the ICC World Cup season and the film is scheduled to see its release on the first Friday post the IPL -2012 and everyone on board is working around the clock to make sure that happens.”

Promising to be bigger better than ever, the comic riot ‘Housefull 2’ will star Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Asin, Zarine Khan, Shazahn Padamsee, Shreyas Talpade, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez and Mithun Chakraborty.
