Director Kathir is known for his feel-good-movies, and after a hiatus he is making a comeback through 'Kodai Vidumurai'.

Kathir's first movie 'Idhayam' was a huge hit, but it was through his second movie 'Uzhavan' that he paired up with Rahman and ever since the score for all his movies have been set by Rahman. The following flicks, 'Kadhal Desam,' 'Kadhalar Dinam' and 'Kadhal Virus' were all musical blockbusters.

Although we can't be sure whether ARR will compose the tracks for 'Kodai Vidumurai' as he hasn't signed on the dotted lines yet, we can be sure that director Kathir will try his best to make this comeback with the ace music composer, for at the launch event, the director expressed that there is no Kathir without a Rahman.

The movie will mark the director's comeback after nine long years and Srikanth will play protagonist for this movie.
