When Vikram and director Suseendran, experts at off-beat films, come together for 'Rajapattai', the output is going to be a full-fledged commercial movie, loaded with action, comedy and romance.

Yes, this is the official word about 'Rajapattai'. Talking to journalists in Chennai on Monday evening, just hours after the film was launched, Suseendran said, "With 'Rajapattai', I have decided to prove that I can make a completely entertaining and commercial film."

Deeksha Seth, the heroine, will play an IT professional. Yuvan Shankar Raja will score the music for Yuga Bharathi's lyrics, and Suseendran's favourite writer Bhaskar Sakthi will pen the dialogues. The story has been written by Seenu Vasan.

Excited about working with Vikram for the first time, the director said, "Rajapattai will be racy and riveting from scene one. There is good scope for comedy and action. Vikram would put on weight for the film."
