Nakul was one of the protagonists of Shankar's 'Boys' in which Genelia played the heroine. The actress, who says that she is not in touch with the actor for a longtime, wants to revive the friendship.

"I have been interacting with Siddharth, Bharath and Thaman whenever we get an opportunity. But Nakul and Manikandan are the two other 'Boys' stars with whom I had lost touch. I want them to say hello to me now," she says.

Saying that the maturity levels of Siddharth, Bharath and Thaman had increased when compared to 'Boys' days, the bubbly actress recalls: "We had a great time shooting for the movie. Working under Shankar was a rich learning experience."

Eagerly expecting the release of 'Velayudham', Genelia says, "I play a very meaty role which is almost on par with that of Vijay's. I was initially doubtful whether I could be able to perform such a character. Thanks to director Raja and Vijay, I have given my best."
