He debuted as a director in Tamil with ‘Gentleman,’ which made a huge impact among audience with regards to corruption. He went on to make huge-budget films with corruption as the epicenter of his scripts, mostly. Today he is one of the highest paid directors in the Indian film industry. Yes, we are discussing Shankar the owner of S Pictures.

Shankar is known in the Indian film industry for the uniqueness his films exude. He is busy with his current project ‘Nanban’ with Vijay, Jeeva and Srikanth playing the lead roles.

The film which is a remake of the very successful Bollywood flick ‘3 Idiots’ is pacing forward at a brisk phase. The music for the film is being taken care of by Harris Jayaraj.

Apart from retaining the ‘All is well…’ song from the original, the Tamil track of ‘Nanban’ has hit headlines yet again, this time for a unique number which has been created by Harris Jayaraj. Reports indicate that the song features more than fifteen languages, and has been sung by Vijay Prakash the same guy who made us enjoy ‘Hosanna’ in ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya.’

Now, apart from the many languages that will be heard in just one song, director Shankar has gone to the extent of short listing some of the most exotic locales in the globe to film the song, we hear!

Since it is a big budget flick and culminates many stars in the project Shankar and his team have unanimously decided the film to be a Diwali treat this year, reveal sources.
