‘Vettai Mannan’ by debutant director Nelson features our very own STR or Silambarasan as the protagonist along with three female leads. We had earlier told you, Simbu’s real life friend Jai will play a pivotal role in this movie, with negative shades.

Now the Kollywood grapevine is abuzz that, Deeksha Seth of Tollywood fame has been roped in to play opposite Simbu in this movie. Remember we had told you that she is already signed in to play opposite Chiyaan Vikram in a Suseendran project?

Look’s like the actress is receiving good openings in Kollywood as well. She made her debut through Telugu flick ‘Vedam’ that was the original of ‘Vaanam.’ She played the heroine for Cable Raju, that is to say, the role played by Jasmin Bhasin in the Tamil version.

The movie will see Simbu in his mass-masala-avatar as he plays a professional killer in this flick. Some of the most dangerous yet successful mafia groups’ auction for assassins, and Simbu immediately becomes the favourite of one the groups that already has a successful gun man, Jai. So yes, there are egoistical conflicts between the duo and each tries to attain the ‘best’ status in the gang.

They say Deeksha is considered quite lucky in Telugu as two of her three movies have been blockbusters, what can we say? We just hope this destiny’s child’s ventures work wonders in Kollywood as well…
