Whatever said on Vikramanin Deiva Thirumagal seems to lack, considering the weight of the project and the performance of the lead characters in the film. This is one film which movie lovers are eagerly waiting for to see and cherish not the actor but the character. Such is the power Vikram can wield to the roles that come his way.
A.L. Vijay who showed the audience that he can deliver a masterpiece through his Madraspattinam will shoot further up his career with Vikramanin Deiva Thirumagal hitting screens. Vikram, in this project, has a host of supporting stars who have lived the characters they performed in Anushka and Amala Paul. This is a bilingual movie, which will simultaneously release in Tamil as Vikramanin Deiva Thirumagal and in Telugu as Nanna.
This is also the first film which sees Anushka in a true-to-life, natural role sans glamour, and if the rushes of the film should convey anything she seems to have done a great job. The film is rumoured by many to be a south Indian version of the popular Hollywood film I am Sam, with Vikram essaying the role of an adult with the mental maturity of a five-year-old.
Vikram who leaves no stones unturned when it comes to studying and performing the character given to him is believed to have excelled in this film too, though it is just a matter of time for us to see and experience his role. At a time when superheroes rule, Vikram has made a bold statement in taking this project under his wing.
The music of Vikramanin Deiva Thirumagal by G.V. Prakash, which was released a month back, has received a very warm welcome from music lovers, with a couple of soul-stirring tunes.
