There could be no good news than this for Rajini fans now. The Superstar is out of the intensive care unit and has been shifted to a private ward, the Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre said Sunday night.

“He is cheerful and is spending time with all the family members and is watching cricket match on television keenly. His vital parameters are stable,” a press release from the hospital said.

Visitors are strictly not allowed as per the advice of doctors, the release however said. Meanwhile, doctors attending Rajini have said that they would soon take a decision on discharging him from the hospital. “He is perfectly alright,” they said.

The numero uno star of Tamil film industry was admitted to SRMC on Friday (May 13) after he complained of breathlessness. Doctors diagnosed that he had too much fluid in his chest. They put him through haemodialysis, and also removed fluid surrounding his chest. And like the Superstar’s films, all is well at last.
