Nakul is silently working to make his presence felt in a big way. The actor has started shooting with director Arivazhagan (of ‘Eeram’ fame) for a yet-to-be-titled film, in which he plays a basket ball champion.

“The shoot of the movie started in Chennai on May 2. The first schedule is over and the second schedule has been planned in Madurai. The cast and crew will leave for the temple town on May 15,” say sources.

“It is a racy entertainer laced with commercial ingredients. Since his maiden film was an eerie thriller, Arivazhagan wants to prove himself in a different genre this time. Nakul is giving him enough support,” they say.

In the meantime, Nakul will play the protagonist in a movie to be directed by John Mahendran of ‘Sachein’ fame. He will appear as a journalist, whose travails are narrated in a hilarious way.
