Nara Rohit, nephew of Telugu Desam president N. Chandrababu Naidu, entered the Tollywood with ‘Banam’. Though the film was not hit commercially, Rohit got a critical acclaim for his performance.

After taking considerable gap, Rohit again painted grease to his face for the second film, with the title ‘Solo’ to be directed by Parasuram and produced by Vamsikrishna Srinivas on the banner of SVK Cinema.

Nisha Agarwal, sister of Kajal Agarwal is playing the heroine in this flick.

Director says, ‘Over 45 per cent of the film was already shot. It is the story of a youth who is very strong mentally and he could achieve anything without any hesitation. How he resolved the problems faced by the society single-handedly is the basic subject of the movie. Rohit delivered extraordinary performance so far and perfectly suited to the role.'

Prakash Raj, Sayaji Shinde, Ali, MS Naryana, Srinivasa Reddy, Subhash, Suhasini and others are in the cast. Music is by Mani Sharma.
