Actor Vishal and his fans are all geared up for the release of his forthcoming movie ‘Avan Ivan.’ While his forthcoming movie is eagerly awaited by all to watch him play “Walter Vanangamudi”, looks like his next project, an action packed thriller under Prabhu Deva’s direction will be titled as ‘Prabhakaran’ or ‘Prabha.’ The movie will see Vishal play the role of a cop, this is his second flick where he plays a cop, his first being ‘Sathyam’ that was well-received by all for his performance.

The movie has Sameera Reddy playing Vishal’s love, and Vivek will entertain the audiences with his comedy scenes, while the music is composed by Vijay Antony.

Sources say that in this movie, Vishal will play a very serious role where the protagonist doesn’t take breaks in doing song sequences with his lady love or joke around but is a serious police officer! They also add that the movie is the remake of Tollywood super hit, ‘Shouryam’ that was directed by Siva.

So what’s the update on the progress of the movie? The climax is now being shot in a village near Hyderabad with which around 80% of the movie will be completed. The movie is all set for a release on Independence Day, August 15!
