Ajmal is hoping for better times, with his ‘Ko’ gearing up to hit the screens tomorrow. The actor says the film’s Telugu version ‘Rangam’ has already created waves among distributors and producers in Andhra Pradesh.

According to the ‘Anjathey’ and ‘Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru’ star, some Telugu producers have already approached him after watching the promos of ‘Rangam’. “I will sign new projects soon,” he says.

Throwing light on ‘Ko’, he says, “The name of my character is Vasanthan Perumal, who is suave and sophisticated in all aspects. It is a great role and I enjoyed working under director K V Anand.”

“We had a blast while shooting ‘Ko’ as we all (Jeeiva, Karthika, Piya, Anand and Ajmal etc) became a great team,” he says and adds: “The film will elevate commercial cinema to a new level. It is an excellent entertainer.”
