Powerstar Pawan Kalyan collected Rs 9.4 crore across the state on the first day of its release. The movie producer Ganesh Babu informed that the flick ran for housefull shows in all the theatres screening Teenmaar.
In Nizam area alone the film collected Rs 1 crore 75 lakh rupees on Thursday alone. Ganesh Babu said that he is fortunate to have got a chance to produce a film with Pawan Kalyan. The movie unit called for a success meet on Friday at Ramanaidu studios. Producer Ganesh Babu, Powerstar's brother Nagababu and Nagaraju from Geeta Arts participated in the success meet.
Nagababu requested the fans to be aware of pirated CDs of Theenmaar and asked them to complain to authorities if they find them being sold.
"I am surprised at the correct judgement of producer Ganeshbabu. I congratulate him for the success of this film. The team put in a lot of effort to make such a pleasant movie. Pawan Kalyan too worked hard for this project. We got to know that there are pirated CDs of Teenmaar in market already. Pirated CD makers are equal to dacoits. They are looting the efforts of the entire unit and the poor producer. In the industry now there is a bad culture where a few feel happy if their competitor's movie bombs at the box office. This kind of bad culture must go" Nagababu said.
This Trisha starrer film was produced by Ganesh Babu on Parameshwara Arts banner.
