Looks like producer Gnanavel Raja will soon be producing a Tamil film again. There seem to be no surprises for the hero’s spot in the film. Studio Green Productions this time too has zeroed in on actor Karthi. The film will be directed by Suraj. Suraj who is busy with the release of Dhanush starrer ‘Maapillai’ will direct Karthi post the release of ‘Maapillai.’ Studio Green’s previous equations with Karthi were ‘Paruthiveeran,’ ‘Naan Mahaan Alla’ and ‘Siruthai’. Paruthiveeran’ unearthed a wonderful talent called Karthi in Tamil cinema while ‘Naan Mahaan Alla’ and ‘Siruthai’ cemented Karthi as a mass hero and did well at the box office.

‘Naan Mahaan Alla’ dealt with how a normal guy turns violent due to the circumstances around him and ‘Siruthai’ saw Karthi in two totally different avatars in terms of attitude, body language and social status.

Studio Green Productions has produced two films starring Suriya in Tamil. They are ‘Sillunu Oru Kadhal’ which had Suriya and Jyothika in the lead, and ‘Singam’ starring Suriya and Anushka in the lead. While ‘Sillunu Oru Kaadhal’ received lukewarm response at the box office ‘Singam’ directed by Hari was a huge hit. Of the five films released by Studio Green Pictures two are Suriya films and three films belong to Karthi. May be that’s the reason they want to continue the magic with the Sivakumar siblings.

We will get you more updates on this project as and when news breaks.
