Looks like actresses are clever entrepreneurs too these days. The latest to prove this is Neetu Chandra, the ‘Yavarum Nalam’ actress, whose special appearance in ‘Kannitheevu pennaa…’ in ‘Yudham Sei’ attracted many an eyeball.

Neetu has launched her production house, Champaran Talkies. Her first venture is the Bhojpuri film, ‘Deswa’, which is directed by the actress’s own brother. “The film will hit the screens this May,” she says.

“I always wanted to bring a change to Bhojpuri cinema and reform the industry by bringing in more sensibility as well as sensitivity. I am planning to take Deswa to all prominent film festivals across the world,” she says.

Happy about acting in ‘Aadhi Bhagawan’, the ‘Jayam’ Ravi starrer directed by Ameer, she says, “Ameer is a talented a director and I loved working with him.” The beauty from Bihar has mastered Tamil and converses only in Tamil with the unit members, we learn.
