The cricket and election fevers have not stopped the producers of ‘Azhagarsamiyin Kudhirai’ from releasing the film this hot season. For, the movie is all set to hit the screens April 1.

Directed by Suseenthiran of ‘Vennila Kabadhi Kuzhu’ and ‘Nan Mahan Alla’ fame, ‘Azhagarsamiyin Kudhirai’ is produced by Madhan and will be released in association with Dhayanidhi Alagiri’s Cloud Nine movies.

Based on a novel by Bhaskar Sakthi, the movie which has Appukutty and Saranya Mohan in pivotal roles is a hilarious entertainer, set in the backdrop of a Theni village. Maestro Ilayaraja has composed music.

Says Suseenthiran, “I am really grateful to Madhan for taking up this project despite it having no big stars. I would also like to say that the movie would be a great entertainer for those who love different attempts.”
