Incometax officials on Wednesday raided the residences of Akkineni Nagarjuna, Anushka Shetty and Raviteja simultaneously. Apart from them, IT slueths also raided the residences of Akkineni Venkat, Annapurna studios and Shivaprasad Reddy from Kamakshi movies.

Sources from IT say there were a few irregularities found in advance tax assessment in the income tax of these actors. Nagarjuna is one of the richest stars in the industry with his investments in entertainment channel, restaraunts and a convention centre in Madhapur recently. Besides, his son Nagachaitanya is also a star now who charges equal remuneration as his dad Nag.

Anushka Shetty who recently bought a house in Journalist colony has been under scanner for purchasing a land along with director S S Rajamouli in the outskirts of Visakahpatnam.

Raviteja who reportedly charges Rs 3 crore per film too has been under scrutiny thanks to the lavish spending of money by his brothers.

IT officials found a lot of discrepancies in the money transfer between different accounts for purchase of properties by these stars. Last year, there were IT raids on producer Ganesh Babu and two years ago IT raided Dilraju, V V Vinayak, actors Mahesh Babu and Charmee.

We are yet to get details on what they unearthed in these raids.
