The shooting of Arun Vijay's Thadaiyara Thaakka is proceeding in full swing, in and around Chennai. Recently the production company Feather Touch Entertainments had erected a huge market set for a scene in the movie. But the director, Magizh, had wanted to capture a few shots in a real market place, without the public being aware. So it was decided to shoot in the hugely crowded Triplicane market, to be realistic.
Since doing that was practically very tough, the hero and the co-stars had rehearsed the scene and their parts in prior. Having been told their positions before hand, the artists had to walk through long and narrow passages in the market unnoticed and take their positions. Cameraman Sukumar of Mynaa fame and well known for his realistic cinematography went there earlier to place the camera in position and wait for the director's instructions.
Then the hero, Arun Vijay walked in with his cap on and took his position as well. He was communicating with the director through phone. When everything was set and they were about to take the shot, he was recognized by the public. Soon word spread and there was a huge crowd who got excited seeing him. The situation grew out of control when the crowd refused to send the star out of there. So they had to escort the crew from the market.
Shooting was stalled for almost 3hrs after which they had to come back with police protection to film the scene again. This time around, the crowd too co-operated and the shot was taken well, to the director's expectations. The director is glad to express his satisfaction and happiness over the way the film is shaping up till now.
The crew is taking utmost care to the smallest details and making sure everything comes out perfectly.
