‘Vaanam’ is taking Silambarasan to Bollywood. The success of the single track ‘Evandi Unna Pethan’ recorded for the film has impressed the films audio label to an extent that they have decided to make a music video of the song in Hindi. Hindi?, Yes, Hindi.

The song tuned by Yuvan Shankar Raja is a chart topper for months since its release last November. It’s self-indulgent words and the lively tune have made the song an anthem for the youth of Tamil Nadu.

A Hindi version of the lyric has been written and Simbu himself is going to sing the number in Hindi also. Noted choreographer Ahmed Khan will direct the music video and it will be on all the channels of north India.

Silambarasan's unexpected big ticket to Bollywood has raised the spirits of the actor. Will he be able to follow the lead and make it? Only time will tell.

‘Vaanam’ is marketed by Cloud Nine and it has decided a worldwide release on April 9.
