Tension prevailed on the sets of a forthcoming Vishal-film directed by Prabhu Deva, in Chennai on Saturday, after heroine Sameera Reddy suddenly became unconscious due to ill-health.

If reports are to be believed, the actress was suffering from fever for the past few days but still attended the shoot. Unable to manage with her health condition, she fainted all of a sudden.

Sameera was immediately rushed to a private hospital where she was advised by doctors to be on rest for a week. Following this, the shoot of the yet-to-be-titled film has been put on hold.

“Besides attending shootings back to back, she also took part in cultural programmes despite heavy fever. This has resulted in her swooning on sets,” sources close to Sameera Reddy reportedly said.
