When the plans were announced for the film ‘Vaanam’ in July last year the casting was considered the most challenging task. After the sensational Anushka, another name that created a lot of buzz was Sneha Ullal. It was said that Silambarasan was very impressed with the actress and he immediately okayed Sneha Ullal’s name when suggested.

Sneha also took part in the launch meetings and press conferences. After that initial hype no one heard about her and ‘Vaanam’ seems to be complete and nearing its release date. What happened to Sneha Ullal… is she there in the film?

Our enquires reveal that Sneha Ullal was dropped from the film long ago. Sources further say Sneha Ullal participated in the first schedule of shooting, but fell sick after and could not give further dates. She was then replaced with a Delhi model Jasmine. Who Jasmine? See the picture below.
