It was with much expectation ‘2010 Bhagyaraj’, a film starring Premji Amaran went on floors last year. Produced by Sona Heiden and directed by Thirumalairajan, there were no updates about the movie for sometime now.

When probed, sources in the know said the shooting of ‘2010 Bhagyaraj’ would start after a break, which was due to some problems faced by Sona thanks to the failure of her maiden production venture ‘Kanimozhi’.

“Things are set to be back on track and we expect the shoot to start by May, after Premji completes shooting for Ajith’s 50th film ‘Mankatha’. The title may undergo a small change, perhaps 2012 Bhagyaraj,” they say.

In the meantime, Sona is also back to stand in front of the camera. “She has bagged a couple of meaty roles. She would like to do characters which have scope to perform,” add sources.
