A name to reckon with in meaningful movies, AVM Productions has now ventured to do ‘Mudhal Idam’, after a two-year break post ‘Ayan’. This one is a quickie which is expected to hit the screens at the earliest.

Directed by R Kumaran, a former associate of Sundar C, the film set in the backdrop of Thanjavur has Vidharth of ‘Mynaa’ fame and Malayalam girl Kavitha Nair playing the lead roles.

Says Kumaran, “I understand my responsibility since I am directing a film for AVM, one of the reputed productions houses of the country. The movie is a realistic portrayal of a village story with a touch of humour.”

He adds: “D Imman, who composed beautiful songs for ‘Mynaa’, has repeated the magic in ‘Mudhal Idam’. All his numbers in the movie have the potential to become chartbusters. The film is shaping up well.”
