Not many know that Amala Paul, the ‘Mynaa’ girl, is a die-hard fan of Suriya. She says a longtime dream of her became a reality recently when she met her favourite actor on the sets of ‘7am Arivu’.

“I am a huge fan of Suriya right from my school days. I would collect photographs of him from all possible sources. It was unbelievable to meet him in person recently at the AVM Studios,” she says.

Adds Amala: “Suriya was shooting for ‘7am Arivu’ when I met him. He appreciated me for my performance in ‘Mynaa’ and said I would go great heights. It is an unforgettable day in my life.”

Meanwhile, the actress has expressed regret not being part of a film produced by director A R Murugadoss. “I could not allot dates required by them. But I met Murugadoss sir and explained my situation. He was very understanding.”
