Udhaya is ready to strike after a break. The ‘Thirunelveli’ and ‘Kalakalappu’ fame actor, who was in hibernation mode for the past few years, has started his next project, titled ‘Ra Ra’.

Produced by Udhaya’s wife Keerthika and directed by Sandilya, ‘Ra Ra’ is the short form of Royapuram and Royapettah, the two bustling areas of Chennai. “The film will show the other side of the city,” sources say.

“It is not without reason the film has been titled ‘Ra Ra’ because Royapuram and Royapettah have their own unique histories and youngsters in that areas reflect the whole of Chennai. The movie will come with more details,” they add.

Remember Udhaya’s brother and father is already making waves in Kollywood. While his brother Vijay is the director of acclaimed films like ‘Kireedam’, ‘Poi Solla Porom’ and ‘Madraspattinam’, his father A L Azhagappan, who was a producer, has now established himself as an actor with ‘Easan’.
