Ganesh Venkatraman is extremely thrilled that his third film ‘Kandahaar’ is also declared a super hit. The suave actor, has now completed a ‘Hatrick’ of super hits with his first 2 being ‘Abhiyum Naanum’ and ‘Unnaipol Oruvan’ also were big hits.

‘Kandahaar’ also launched Ganesh in Malayalam. Says Ganesh “I couldn’t ask for a better launch in Malayalam than starring alongside 2 legends- Mr Amitabh Bachchan and Mr Mohanlal, and credit for that goes to my director Major Ravi”.

Ganesh plays Amitabh Bachhan’s son Soorya, an unemployed frustrated youngster whose life changes after he meets Major Mahadevan played by Mohanlal, who urges him to join the army. Ganesh then gets a focus in life and transforms into a dashing commando who goes on the Kandahaar mission. His character has been shown to be extremely patriotic and people have loved it a lot. Ragini Dwivedi plays his love interest.

Ganesh is happy to have done films in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and soon Hindi and aspires to be a Pan-India actor. He is now eagerly awaiting the release of ‘Kandahaar’ in Tamil and Hindi in January.
