The Chennai International Film Festival (CIFF), an annual event celebrating world films, has been grabbing headlines ever since its high profile kick start on Wednesday.

Four films would be screened today as part of the festival and one among them would be 'Aayirathil Oruvan', the Karthi, Reemma and Andrea Jeremiah starrer.

The Selvaraghavan-directed film would be screened at South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce theatre on Anna Salai at 2.30 pm. Other movies which would be screened to film-buffs today are 'Teheran' at Woodlands Theatre at 10.15 am, 'Little Sparrows' at Woodlands Symphony at 7.30 pm and 'Little Buddha' at SIFCC at noon.

Says a student of the film institute, "The CIFF is a great opportunity for us to watch globally acclaimed movies. Our thanks to the organisers for planning the event on such a grand scale."
